2016年10月22日晚7点在波士顿汉考克厅（John Hancock）举行的美国首届华星国际艺术节华星炫舞之夜是由加拿大海燕艺术团团长卢海燕、美国现代舞团‘Kunyang lin/Dancers’ 首席舞者刘沫、馨梅舞社社长张馨梅等众多明星艺术家加盟，波士顿粉墨东方舞蹈团、华夏舞蹈团、乐舞族、明珠舞蹈团、天使舞蹈团、费城旋律艺术团，舞道人，中華藝術協會傳統中國舞蹈團等团体共同参与演出的以舞蹈为主要艺术形式的文化交流晚会。
The China Star Night Fusion Dance Arts Show, as part of the Boston Huaxing China Arts International Festival, will be held on October 22, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Boston’s John Hancock Hall.
The show will include dancers and performers like:
Renowned dancer Lu Haiyan, founder of Integrated Haiyan Dance Studio in Ottawa, Canada;
Liu Mo, company member of the Kun-yang Lin/Dancers of Philadelphia, PA;
Dance judge Vivian Zhang, who has been invited to judge performances at Harvard University, Boston University, Tufts University, Brown University, The UConn Husky Classic and other college ballroom dance competitions;
And many other renowned local dance groups, such as: Foremost Art Troupe, Hua Xia Dance Troupe, Dance Revelasian, Bright Pearl Dance, Angel Dance Company, Philadelphia Melody Dance Group, A Few Dancers, and American Chinese Art Society Traditional Chinese Dance Troupe.
Many of the performers are owners of dance schools or founders of dance communities, and have hosted their own independent performance shows.
This will be the first time that the China Star Night Fusion Dance Arts Show will unite influential Boston area Chinese dance performers with professional artists from other regions. Combining this amount of talent will bring a new level of visual and auditory enjoyment to the audiences.

卢海燕，彝族,青年舞蹈家. 1994年以优异成绩毕业于云南省艺术学院舞蹈系-民族民间舞专业；2000年进修于北京舞蹈学院编导系- 编导专业。获得北京舞蹈学院中国舞1-8级教师资格证书，及芭蕾舞1-2级教师资格证书。2009年毕业于加拿大渥太华亚岗昆学院 “市场营销"专业.
卢女士迄今已有20年舞蹈教学经验，她擅长于少儿和成人的舞蹈教学，舞蹈编创及成品舞蹈的表演与教学。她所编排及表演的节目曾多次获奖。1996年以彝族双人舞 “羞羞歌"获得昆明市高校舞蹈大赛 “一等奖”. 1997年个人编创少儿舞蹈"小乖乖" 获得深圳市中小学迎香港回归舞蹈大赛 “ 一等奖".
来加拿大后，先后在多伦多和渥太华任教，深受广大学员的喜爱及好评；多次参加多伦多及渥太华大型庆典的策划及演出活动；2014年在中央电视台和环球华语电视台合办的“我要上春晚”加拿大总决赛中以独蹈“月光”胜出，享誉加拿大。 她排练的舞蹈"红是红啊绿是绿"获得2015渥太华水立方杯青少年才艺大赛一等奖. 2005舞蹈"雀之灵"获加拿大多伦多电视台邀请参加中国新年演出.
卢女士于2012年在加拿大渥太华创立海燕舞蹈学校。(海燕艺术团)该团多次主办, 策划及参与各种社区大型活动. 2015年4月随乔万钧老师创立海艺合唱团,并加入北美合唱协会.
Ms. Haiyan Lu, Yi nationality, A famous dancer in Ottawa Canada. She graduated from Dance Department of Art Institute in Yunnan Province with honors in 1994 and engaged in an advanced studies for dance professional choreographer at Beijing Dance Academy in 2000。
So far, Ms. Lu has 20 years' dance teaching experience She is good at teaching children as well as adults, at dance creative and at learning finished dance and conducting students to carry dance rehearsal. Dances choreographed and performed by her have been awarded many times.
Since coming to Canada Ms. Lu has taught dance in Toronto and Ottawa successively. She is loved and praised by her students. She has participated in planning large-scale celebrations and performances in Ottawa and in Toronto. The Chinese Central Television and Universal Mandarin Television jointly organized a competition named "I want on the Spring Festival Gala”in Canada in 2014, she entered the finals. Her dance performance, "Moonlight", is also a favorite of Canada audiences.
Ms. Lu founded Integrated Haiyan Dance Studio in Ottawa, Canada. in 2012.
刘沫，美国现代舞团‘Kunyang lin/Dancers’ 首席舞者。 毕业于北京舞蹈学院中国古典舞系表演及教育本科专业. 自12岁考入北京舞蹈学院附中中 国舞专业学习中国舞起，刘沫已有超过 16 年的职业舞蹈学习及演出经验。在校期间曾参加第八届桃李杯全国舞蹈比赛，并以作品《扬眉剑出鞘》获得 A 级少年甲组单项作品三等奖.。
2006 年, 刘沫以全国古典舞专业课第一名的成绩考入北京舞蹈学院中国古典舞系。2007-08 年之间参加北京奥运会开幕式排练，排练作品《画卷》 ，《太极》。2009 年参与排练北京 舞蹈学院 55 周年院庆大型舞剧《粉末》 ，《洛神赋》，同年作为 10 佳种子选手代表北京 舞蹈学院中国古典舞系参加第九届桃李杯舞蹈比赛青年组男子单项比赛，但最终因伤遗憾提 前退出。2010 年, 本科毕业后应邀留校在北京舞蹈学院附中中国舞科担任古典舞教师一职。 在校工作期间曾教授各阶段学生的中国古典舞基本功训练，中国古典舞身韵，及剧目排练课 程。2011 年辞职离开母校去往美国接受西方舞蹈教育。
自2012 年至今，刘沫以职业舞者身份开始与美国现代舞团 Kunyang Lin/Dancers 合作演出， 现任舞团首席舞者。期间有多部作品曾在费城，纽约，Albany, Schenectady 及德国的杜索多夫 演出.。其中代表作品有《One》 《Moon》 《Be longing》 《Mandala》 及《Home》，历届作 品都受到广大观众的喜爱。 2013 年夏作为评委对波士顿天使舞蹈艺术团举办的国际舞蹈比赛评审。 自2014 年起刘沫开始在编导领域进行突破。吸引了美国东部地区各个不同的艺术家及舞团 的注意，其中为舞团 Ballet 180 编创作品《Building》，木偶剧艺术家 Huahua Zhang 编创双人 舞《Duel》，受新泽西州华人艺术团体邀请演出自编自导作品 《Let’s Take a Walk》及《Touch of Light》等等，这些作品的涌出也受到了多方业内人士的高度评价及赞扬。
From Xi’an, China, Liu Mo trained at the prestigious Beijing Dance Academy from middle school through college. Upon the completion of his training, he received his BFA in Classical Chinese dance with a focus in performance and education. During this time, he received 3rd place for his solo at the Taoli Bei dance competition and had the opportunity to work with many choreographers, such as Shen Wei for the 2008 summer Olympics. Following the completion of his degree, Liu mo served as an instructor in the foundations of Classical Chinese dance at the Beijing Dance Academy until 2011.Since then, he has been performing as accompany member for the Kun-yang Lin/Dancers of Philadelphia, PA. Liu Mo has also choreographed commissioned works for Ballet180 and HuahuaZhang.
费城旋律舞蹈团成立于2009年三月。团员们从事各行各业，是对于舞蹈共同的爱好使大家相聚一起。 7年以来，舞蹈团排练了多个优美欢快，形式新颖的节目，包括《春天的芭蕾》，《茉莉花》，《花韵》，《青花瓷》，《楚风》，《海之声》，和趣味舞蹈《纤夫的爱》等。舞蹈团积极参与费城及周边地区华人社区的各种节庆联欢、文艺表演活动，特别是与到访的“四海同春”和“亲情中华”国内慰问团的专业艺术家们同台。今年夏天， 舞蹈团以原创舞蹈《海之声》初次参加美国舞蹈界Groove大赛的初赛和复赛，连续斩获殊荣， 获得地区赛以及全国决赛的最高白金奖。
The Melody Dance Group was founded in 2009 with members from all walks of life. Under the guidance of its artistic director Ms. Wenjun Guo, the group strives to maintain the integrity and discipline of traditional dance principles while embracing the fun and freedom of the more contemporary styles so that it may share the beauty and intricacy of Chinese dance with a broader audience. The group has performed numerous shows throughout the Philadelphia region and has often shared the same stage with visiting professional artists from mainland China. Over the summer, the group participated in the national finals of the Groove Dance Competition for the first time with their dance "Sound of the Sea" and was awarded Platinum Gold, the highest award.
Founded in 1997, Hua Xia Chinese Dance Troupe has dedicated itself to the preservation and promotion of Chinese dance through active involvement in the cultural events of both the Chinese and American communities.
Dance is fueled by emotions and the movements they inspire. Dancing originates from daily life and has been transformed into art.
A Few Dancers is a group with a shared vision of what dance is. They are united in their understanding and love of the art form. The group gets together for performances, drawing inspiration from each other to perform dances that portray the emotions of our daily lives.
2016年天使舞蹈学校8-17岁团员在全美舞蹈精英挑战赛中，荣获个人，小组，集体34项最高奖项！13岁以上团员中，近有50名荣获奥巴马总统义工奖！2007年，应邀赴中国北京参加了“迎奥运大型文艺演出活动”；2008年举办了《天使之夜-四川赈灾义演舞蹈晚会》，筹集善款10537.75美元，帮助了四川都江堰柳街小学重建了以“天使”命名的计算机教室；2009年12月，应波士顿著名专业芭蕾舞团Ballet Rox的邀请，出演了大型芭蕾舞剧《Urban Nutcracker》的12场演出.11年来成功的举办了几十场高质量的大型舞蹈专场演出。
Foremost Art Group, 粉墨东方艺术团, consists of a group of professionals of medical doctors, scientists, engineers and executives who demonstrated great passion promoting Chinese folk dancing, and performing arts. Members of the troupe have been actively performing in Great Boston area over 17 years, and well acknowledged in performing top ranked award-winning dance pieces.
Vivian graduated from Beijing Capital Normal University, majored in Chinese folk dance, she continued her interest perusing ballroom dance study at Beijing Ballroom Dance College, majored in International Latin & International Standard dance，she also studied fine art in sculpture in US, graduated from Framingham State University.
Vivian was employed by Beijing City Singing and Dancing Troupe. Before came to US, she has performed extensively on TV throughout China and in numerous cities as well as at many theaters and venues including established festivities such as Tiananmen Square (Ren Min Da Hui Tang - The Great Hall of the People). Meanwhile she had competed in professional international Latin Dance category in China & Asia countries.
Since came to the United States, Vivian has competed professionally in International Latin, American Rhythm, American smooth & Professional Show dance categories. She had been several times placed in the final of professional rising star & professional International Latin dance category, then concentrated in American Smooth category, many times winning professional rising star division , and placed in the final of professional division. She also has done many Pro/Am divisions, meanwhile been invited as a judge judging Harvard university, Boston university, Tufts University, Brown university, Uconn Husky classic etc college Ballroom competitions.
Born in Ostrava, the city of steel, coal and Latin American Dancing, Jan was naturally drawn in to the world of ballroom. During his studies of Mathematic Analysis and Information Technologies at Mathematical Institute in Opava, he realized that dancing is closer to his heart and went on a path of further exploration of a body movement. Anatomy, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Sport Psychology, Physiology and other subjects were part of his degree in Sport Management from the Technical University of Ostrava.
In 1999, he became a dance teacher and performer at Akcent Ostrava where he added Modern Dance, Jazz, Contact Improvisation, and Gymnastics to his repertoire. Jan also worked for several years at Moravian-Silesian National Theatre where ballet technique improved his understanding of movement dynamics and intention, as well as the importance of methodology in dance education. Jan has been competing throughout Europe and the US, becoming two times Czech Champion in Showdance and achieving 3rd place at the Czech professional Latin American Championship. He was also finalist of the World and European Showdance Championships.
Since 2009, he has been successfully competing in the Professional American Smooth division, winning several Rising Star Championships and placing in the finals of Open Championships nationwide.
Dance Revelasian is the premier Chinese dance group in Boston. It is made up of a group of well-established, experienced dancers drawn together by their common interest and passion for dancing. The group's mission is to promote Chinese culture through traditional dance. Through its artistic endeavors, the group hopes to share its heritage with the community and to acquaint Chinese American youth with their ethnic culture.
Bright Pearl’s Dance Program is the centerpiece of the Academy. The program provides talented and dedicated dancers with professional training and outstanding performance opportunities. The program is composed of two divisions, Dance Troupe and Dance Competition Company Team. The program is led by Artistic Director Joanna Jin (周娜). Ms. Jin believes that the study of dance instills in the students passion for the art and spirit for creating beauty in the coordinated motion of dance. A young person may realize a healthy balance of mind and body, and achieve an underlying confidence, elegance, spirit of cooperation, and cheerful disposition through dance. With the goal of achieving advanced artistry, dancers develop beautiful, intricate, and precise dance movements through choreography incorporating various dance forms.
The Traditional Chinese Dance Troupe is a very popular group of distinguished dancers sponsored by the American Chinese Art Society. Members are selected through an audition their ages range from seven to eighteen. Although all dancers are American-born, they are devoted to mastering traditional Chinese dance skills and traditions.
Having made frequent appearances at a broad variety of events in New England, across the United States, and China, the Troupe is proud of its being a major contributor to the celebration of Chinese cultural art forms. It accepted an invitation by Shanghai Federation of Returned Oversea Chinese to perform in Shanghai, China in 1997. The Dance Troupe was selected to perform at Disney World, Florida in 1999, and in 2000 made invited performances in Hawaii, Philadelphia and Rhode Island. In July 2002, the Dance Troupe performed in Disneyland, CA and Taiwan.
The Dance Troupe was also invited to perform for the Summer Carnival-Victory in July 2006. In July 2007, the Dance Troupe performed at the International Education Exchange Center in Beijing, and toured to appear in Fushun and Dalian. Last July, 2010, the Dance Troupe performed at The National Palace Museum and National Yunlin University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. On December 26, 2012 to January 2, 2013, the Dance Troupe was honored with an official invitation to participate in the 27 th New Year’s Day Parade and Festival Performances in London.
